Responsibilities

The Physician Account Executive is responsible for growing current business and targeting and securing profitable new business by building relationships, opening new business and driving new sales growth; the physician account executive has call point ownership of certain accounts.Responsibilities:\u2022\tDrive sales through pre-call planning, post- call analysis and consistent follow-up\u2022\tTarget and secure new business\u2022\tProvide overall support and expertise to new & existing accounts\u2022\tIncrease discretionary business through insurance access\u2022\tPartner with and notify Physician Account Manager on complex issues or when face-to-face or extensive service is required\u2022\tProvide immediate support for less complex issues\u2022\tLeverage all tools and resources (including data, sales portal, target lists; Marketing Department, Laboratory resources, and regional or national resources as needed)\u2022\tMaintain a breadth of knowledge of all connectivity products\u00a0 (i.e., Care 360, e-orders, e-prescribe, etc.)\u2022\tPrepare and present proposals and bids\u2022\tEnsure compliance with company polices and government regulations\u2022\tComplete all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptlyEducation:\u2022\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences.Knowledge:\u2022\tKnowledge of Healthcare Industry and general economics of business.\u2022\tAbility to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizational skills\u2022\tExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills\u2022\tSolid PC skill including Microsoft Software.Experience:\u2022\tFive years of experience in sales or with account ownershipSpecial Requirements:\u2022\tCandidate must have residency in close proximity of territory. \u2022\tA valid driver\u2019s license.\u00a0 \u2022\tA motor vehicle record in good standing. \u2022\tMust be able to travel to training for extended periods of time (2-3 weeks) in residence.Quest Diagnostics is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)
