As a Payroll Analyst you will perform all aspects of payroll operations under minimal supervision.  You will assist in payroll functions with primary responsibility for subsidiary and corporate payrolls, including verification of payroll transactions.

Essential Job Functions:

Processes payroll for US employees at Corporate and Grove US LLC.  Reviews and approves ADP invoices for tax payments.  Reviews payroll reports (Wage and Tax register, multi jurisdiction report, payroll registers) for accuracy and promptly corrects inaccuracies.

Administer payroll transactions for expatriates.  Facilitates pay updates for employees receiving relocation benefits.  Pulls payroll data associated with ad hoc requests.

Process payrolls due to equity transactions to ensure appropriate tax liability is reported.

Processes sales commission payments to sales team.  Processes payrolls based on special (SERP distributions, Deferred Comp Distributions, Severance payments, BOD payments etc.)

Year-end processing to include 1099 processing, tracking unclaimed property, and W2 testing. 

Updates/removes/changes income and unemployment tax identification numbers and company information with state tax agencies.  Responds to verifications of employment.

Completes requests for information from state unemployment agencies.  Review any filing amendments or tax updates when notified by ADP.  ','!*!

Job Requirements/Working Conditions:

High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll functions or Associates degree preferred with a minimum of 1-year same experience.

Experience in ADP (preferred) or other Payroll processing software required.

Strong PC skills, including word processing, spreadsheet, internet

Work involves highly confidential and sensitive information; discretion is essential.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to provide courteous and professional customer service.

Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Ability to work independently and with team and share knowledge and skills with payroll coordinator.
