Position Description

Hours Monday- Thursday 4:15pm-2:45am

Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. May use programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. May work with engineers in conducting experiments.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative maintenance on packaging lines

Set up of packaging lines

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems that may occur on packaging equipment

Follow establish SOP's and GMP's

Special projects and other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

4 years technical and manufacturing experience

Critical Skills

5 years mechanical experience

Electrical experience preferred

Experience using mechanical systems, HVAC, compressed air systems, material handling equipment

Knowledge of preventative maintenance protocols

PLC experience

Work knowledge of MS Word and Excel

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Technician and manufacturing experience, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals and engineering specifications, and use complicated drawings, advanced mathematics, and a variety of precision measuring instruments. Thorough knowledge of soldering methods, use of meters and test equipment.


HS Diploma, AA degree in Electronics Technology Trade knowledge equivalent to training received in a formal registered apprentice program is preferred.

Ability to lift 30lbs

Continuous bending, standing, heavy lifting and walking
