Join us!Oxford Forge Technician Training Program• Support the day to day operations and maintenance needs of the forging operation.• Supports the definition and maintenance of equipment specifications including pneumatic, hydraulic, and lubrication standards.• Troubleshoots and maintains production equipment, which includes hydraulic, mechanic, and pneumatic systems.• Works from engineering drawings and equipment specifications• Mentor other associates in proper maintenance techniques.• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and diagnostic maintenance requirements on hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.• Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizingAbout American Axle & ManufacturingFor over 20 years, customers around the world have entrusted AAM to design, engineer, validate and manufacture driveline, metal forming, powertrain, and casting technologies for automotive, commercial and industrial markets.
