POSITION SUMMARY

The Outreach HEDIS Coordinator position will consist primarily of interacting with individual providers and large provider groups to analyze trends in care, work with providers to identify opportunities for care and identify gaps in care ultimately focusing on gap closure.

Fundamental Components:

-high interaction with providers

-speaking to providers about trends in care

-data collection

-HEDIS rate analysis

-member phone calls

-scanning, faxing, etc.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

*Candidate should possess medical terminology, inpatient or outpatient healthcare experience, experience reading medical records, having discussions with providers and groups.

Proficient experience with MS Office programs: Excel, Outlook, Word, Access.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
