Job Description:

The OM Planner serves as the strategic lead in developing business & operational process to fulfill our customer promise across multi-channel order fulfillment methods.

The Planner is the key integration point who works cross functionally with the Business Teams, the Online team, Enterprise Customer Care, Capability teams, & many other partners to ensure operational needs are delivered for all new & existing multi-channel fulfillment enhancements.

A Planner on this team leads the development, interpretation, & communication of root cause analysis of OM trends & events in specific business categories & coordinates cross-functional performance improvement initiatives based on the results of the analysis. They are also accountable for the accurate collection, analysis, results & presentation of the data.

The Planner provides project leadership for development of new supply chain fulfillment methods, performance management processes, systems, & reporting capabilities. The projects that the planner leads are often cross functional in nature & require the ability to influence without authority.

Planners on this team develops coordinated communications & act as the point of contact for vendors & various supply chain & business teams.

The Planner will indirectly manage a team who supports OM functions to deliver an end to end customer experience. They directly & indirectly provide leadership & work direction to a team of analysts in support of delivering consistent OM health & delivering day to day operational needs to fulfill the customer promise across all channels, brands & products. The planner is responsible for all non-grab & go transactions for their area of business

They are expected to improve process efficiency while continuously improving the customer experience. This expectation is not limited to influencing the OM team, but also the processes across all user groups.

They will develop recommendations to operations teams regarding process improvements & business work arounds to ensure a seamless end to end customer experience & efficient order flow.

The Planner is a Subject Matter Expert for OMS processes & developing team member knowledge of OMS in order to address inquiry questions from business teams. They often integrate with cross functional projects to represent OM & drive consistency across the enterprise. Planners are expected to represent OM to various levels of leadership including senior leadership & be prepared to answer requests at any given time.

Role is required to respond to business & system events 24 X 7 as needed through an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities:

Manages the customer experience & open orders pipeline for specified fulfillment method through data analysis- & drives process & system changes to improve & drive efficiencies.

Provides leadership & development to analyst team to deliver daily operational needs for the OM capability.

Project manages & collaborates to meet both planned & unplanned business needs.

Thinks critically through impacts of urgent business situations & long term business changes. Communicates & mitigates these impacts effectively.

Understands & communicates process & system gaps impacting specified fulfillment method & manages to resolution. Partners closely with OM Analysts to do this.

Partners cross-functionally to ensure process execution, understanding of OM processes & system, & represent customer & employee experience.

Required:

3 years of experience in E-Commerce business operations, Information Support, Logistics, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Fraud, Settlement or a similar industry

1 or more years of experience using Excel & other databases

Knowledge of retail industry

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

3 years of experience in statistical analysis, supply chain operations, accounting/finance, inventory management, or buying

2 or more years of understanding OM, strategies, concepts & applications

3 or more years of excellent communication skills; both orally & in writing.

Ability to communicate to a wide spectrum of cross-functional team members.
