Operations Assistant Manager

Assist the Operations Manager to Oversee, direct and coordinate all operations department activities throughout the facility and field operations ensuring a high quality superior state of service of the branch operations department


Assists in the direction of all operations relating to building, maintaining and servicing outdoor advertising structures, building, shops, offices and fleet vehicles

Assists in the fulfillment of client contracts and meets customer quality standards

Works with sales, marketing and finance to set pricing for production services, extensions and other operations oriented aspects of the outdoor buy

Assists in hires, disciplines, discharges, supervises, trains, governs, assigns, schedules supervisors with in the operations department

Assists in providing operational counsel to employees with emphasis on production, costs, safety, environmental issues, technology and production capabilities

Assists with reviews, maintains and implements safe work practices and compliance with all applicable OSHA, EPA and Company safety requirements

Assists in conducting on-site evaluations of safety, quality, efficiency and other criteria essential to effective operations

Assists in maintaining employee relations

Assists in the Initiation, evaluation and implementing new technology, methods policies and procedures

Assists in the installation of posting Bulletins, Eco-Posters, Junior Posters, Transit displays and other CCO Displays as needed.

Revises production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure, operating problems, weather conditions, client needs and other factors

Maintains complete, updated and accurate inventory of materials

Maintains compete updated and accurate records of fleet of vehicles-includes authorizing all necessary repairs and maintenance

Report safety and maintenance related problems to supervisor / operations manager

Participate in company training, safety meetings and other meetings and events as directed

Perform all work procedures in compliance with Clear Channel Outdoor safety guidelines

Maintain all tools and equipment in good condition

Maintain work vehicle and equipment in a clean and organized manner

Other duties as assigned


Must possess valid in-state driver’s license suitable for light commercial vehicles and other equipment with associated with job

Ability to use and maintain hand tools and small device power tools

Experience working with OSHA standards

Proven safety management track record

Able to work independently, exercising judgment and decision making

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – excel, word, office

Solid written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and prioritization

Ability to lead others in achieving company goals and objectives

Ability to work full time, up to and including six days a week, weekends, and holidays as needed

Ability to multi-task, fast-paced, dynamic environment

Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction

Ability to manage individual workflow effectively and improve processes when necessary


Post-high school education (2 or 4 year degree in Operations Management, Business or related field) or equivalent experience


5-7 year’s experience in the construction trade or related trades

1-3 years’ experience supervising employees
