POSITION SUMMARY Holds global enterprise-wide responsibility for strategic and tactical leadership of company communications.Ensures consistent messaging across all platforms to all stakeholders, both internal and external.Leads all corporate communications, including corporate visibility, media relations and public relations, alignment with corporate strategy, internal communications, corporate culture, and public affairs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1.Provides strategic direction on all matters affecting company visibility and reputation as well as related tactical support as needed. 2.Plans, develops, and executes company-wide employee communications, programs and platforms by providing strategic direction on internal initiatives, drafting communications for executives, people managers, and employees, overseeing all editorial content. 3.Owns the global brand and ensures the O&M brand is represented appropriately both in all media types (print and virtual). 4.Acts as a key spokesperson for O&M.Epitomizes and reinforces company culture. 5.Creates and oversees strategic communication plans that align with O&M's milestones, annual business plan, and long-term vision. 6.Leads team that designs and manages the Company's external website, manages the Company's social media presence and its internal intranet. 7.Owns the on-going evolving culture of O&M designing supporting vision, mission, and values to support the unique culture of the organization. 8.Collaborates with leadership and the HR function to create strategies and implement employee communications in support of corporate and industry initiatives. 9.Directs the daily operation and work of the Internal Communications , monitoring performance, mentoring and providing on-going feedback. SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1.Performs additional duties as directed. Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; Master's Degree preferred 2.Minimum of ten years in a senior leadership role either in a corporate role or large agency 3.In depth knowledge of best communication practices 4.International communications experience/exposure is required KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Possesses excellent writing, editing and communications skills
Ability to forge collaborative relationships with multiple business stakeholders and external partners around the world to align activities to key strategic objectives
Demonstrated ability and experience in planning, writing, editing, and production of annual reports, marketing literature, and other print materials
Demonstrated skill and confidence in proactively building relationships with top tier partners/leaders both internally and externally
Experience in using social media to drive engagement
Encourages diverse thinking that challenges the status quo to raise standards and promote a culture of innovation
Strong ability to make decisions in a changing environment
Strong ability to anticipate future needs of the organization
Must have a sense of urgency
Communicates effectively and persuasively, both verbally and in writing
Manages time and resources effectively through strong organization, multi-tasking, delegation, time management and project management skills
Works independently as a self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results
Analyzes information to make sound business decisions taking prudent business risks as appropriate
