PURPOSE:   To provide clinical care and case management services, Human Resources support, education and promotion of wellness and safety in a fast paced environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES):

Medically manage Workers' Compensation claims through telephonic and in person interactions with employees, their physicians, administrators and managers while following established Workers' Compensations rules and guidelines
Work with internal staff and external vendors to Case Manage Workers' Compensation Claims, FMLA cases, ADAAA, and return to work.
Pursue return to work opportunities by working with employees and managers to identify suitable accommodations or alternate assignments
Obtain and communicate case information to employees, managers and physicians.
Provide care to employees inclusive of triaging scheduled and walk-in clinic appointments as well as responding to medical emergencies throughout the campus.  
Support compliance of OSHA medical surveillance requirements by conducting respirator fit tests, audiograms, spirometry, drug screens etc. as needed.
Perform ergonomic evaluations; Investigate and perform root cause analysis of work injuries
Generate, review and interpret a variety of reports
Health promotion and disease prevention through education and support of company sponsored Wellness activities
Project work and any other duties from time to time.
Document all interactions in the electronic medical record and other appropriate electronic files.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Unrestricted Ohio RN license or Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
1-3 years of Case Management experience or 1-3 years of Occupational Health Experience required
Excellent customer services skills required
Knowledge of Ohio BWC, FMLA, ADAAA and OSHA regulations desired
CCM certification desired
BLS certification desired
Occupational Hearing Conservation Certification, Spirometry Certification and respirator fit training experience desired
Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT & HCPC coding and billing practices desired
Exceptional and effective written and verbal communication skills
Able to handle a rapidly changing set of priorities, work collaboratively
Must be able to walk 1/2 mile at a time, lift and carry up to 10 pounds and climb stairs
