Our Corporate Solutions Group is currently seeking an Associate, Occupancy Planning to join and help our team successfully develop pro forma financials, gather and evaluate business information, occupancy, and real estate market data, preparing presentations and requests for qualifications / proposals, as well as financial reporting for clients of the firm. This role will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing legal documents and operating plans as part of the due diligence process, for occupancy strategies. Moreover, this position will help our team successfully complete engagements for occupier clients in the following areas: Occupancy Planning, Space data management, Technology implementationWhat this job involves?Having the know-howAs an Associate, Occupancy Planning, you’ll need to have a great knowledge in Corporate Real Estate. In this role, you will prepare and update reports, plans and spreadsheets required to support the planning organization for its internal processes or to facilitate decision-making by departments on a campus or within a building; and churn reports by department and building. You will need to assist Occupancy Planner in planning-related initiatives and project move planning; and support Occupancy Planning by assisting in the development of project process, tools, and client deliverables that will be included in best practices.Being a trailblazer and breaking new ground\\rTo be successful in this role, you should be able to ensure accurate reporting of information, and foster critical relationships between various individuals and organizations communication channels will exist with:Department Managers and/or Administrative Assistants to collect seating assignments;Move Coordinator (Move Project Manager) to monitor the progress of a project move; andOccupancy Planner to review and resolve campus / building-specific forecasts, needs, concerns, and issues.\\r\\rSound like you? Before you apply, it’s also worth knowing what we’re looking for:\\rSmartA Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related field is required; also along with minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in corporate environment. Previous management consulting experience in space/occupancy planning at a strategic level, plus experience with interior office renovations is highly desirable. CAFM Systems experience required.Dynamic and Highly SkilledYou’ll need to be dynamic and technologically savvy and utilize software to support planning solutions and communicate ideas clearly with planning team and lines of businesses. You will be successful if you have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlook-up, cell calculations). Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to consolidate data and floor plans into Power Point for presentations to client and lines of business is highly valued. You’ll be effective in you role by learning to ask the right questions to understand the underlying needs of our clients.
