KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Manual dexterity sufficient for typing.

Sedentary Work:

Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs data entry, scheduling of Surgical and Endoscopy procedures, secretarial and administrative duties to assist Operating Room Staff in providing quality patient care.

MAJOR WORK ACTIVITIES:

Coordinates interdepartmental and Multidisciplinary Scheduling systems. Consistently prioritizes and manages incoming / outgoing correspondences (emails, faxes, phone calls etc.) Coordinates interpreters for the customers as needed and contacts registration when changes are made in next day's schedule and / or need for data entry of demographics. 25 %

Knowledgeable of computerized scheduling systems. Ability to navigate effectively through the scheduling system. Serves as an intra and interdepartmental resource for the scheduling system from a non-clinical perspective. 25 %

Maintains office supplies. 25 %

Provides outstanding customer service. Provides good customer service to both internal and external customers. Consistently uses the approved script. Always courteous and has a smile in their voice. 25 %
