This position is for Orange County Global Medical Center.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs diversified duties in diet office and trayline following standard practices and complying with regulatory requirements. Serves as relief for cashiers and is responsible for the accurate accounting for all meals purchased in the cafeteria by use of a cash register, scale and a complete understand of the Hospital's financial controls and systems for cash control as it applies to cashiers. Employes exceptional customer service skills to patients, staff, and visitors. The position also includes additional side work as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: High School completion.

2. Experience: One or more years of experience working in hospital food service setting is desirable but not mandatory.

3. Skills:

Able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

Able to perform simple math calculations.

Able to learn modified diets and perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
