Under the administrative direction of the COO/CNO and Executive Director of Lutheran Children s Hospital, ensures compliance with regulatory agencies impacting patient care in an acute healthcare facility; develops, implements and monitors goals and objectives of assigned divisions to most effectively integrate its technical and human resources to support the organization s mission.

Facilitates integration of personnel and clinical care within maternal/fetal, neonatal and pediatric services to improve quality outcomes. The manager is responsible for working on program or project specific to integrate care across the continuum and through three spheres of influence: patient, nurse, and system.

Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications


Current state licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Indiana


A minimum of 3 years healthcare clinical RN experience with 2 years experience in a leadership role. Knowledge of obstetrics and neonatal services strongly preferred.


Minimum of a Bachelor s Degree in Nursing.


CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation) within three (3) months of date in position.

Community Health Systems is founded with the first purchase of a hospital in May 1985. January 2014: Community Health Systems, Inc. completes the acquisition of Health Management Associates, Inc., adding approximately 70 hospitals to the organization.
