DESCRIPTION: CBS-3, KYW-TV in Philadelphia is seeking experienced news writer\/producer. Candidate must generate solid ideas for story selection and placement as well as utilize creative production techniques. Must write compelling teases and create memorable on-air moments. Must be flexible to let shows breathe while maintaining ratings-driven format times. The ideal candidate will thrive in producing breaking news, both within and outside of regular newscasts. We aren\u2019t looking for a show stacker, we are looking for a producer who\u2019s passionate about news and highly competitive. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 - 5 years\u2019 experience. Must have excellent writing skills. Knowledge of non-linear editing systems required as well as experience with Avid I-News or similar computer system.
