New Store Opening Marketing Strategist (17031514)DescriptionThe New Restaurant Opening Marketing Strategist is responsible for implementing marketing strategies focused on driving awareness, traffic and sales to new restaurants. This position supports planning and execution of all of the Company’s marketing initiatives for new restaurant openings, relocations and renovations across the US and Canada.S/he collaborates with the Manager of New Restaurant Marketing, as well as working cross functionally with team members from national marketing, field marketing, new restaurant opening and training teams, Operations, as well as other support teams. The role of the NRO marketing team is ideation, negotiation, planning, and execution of all pre and post opening marketing, as well as grand opening day marketing. S/he will manage and drive a portfolio of projects ensuring adherence to project guidelines and branding, and best practices. Will need to build meaningful and trusting relationships with geographically dispersed marketing team members and Ops leaders.Primary Responsibilities:Collaborate and implement a marketing strategy as an extension of the global marketing platform, inclusive of budget and program calendars, to support NRO and company goals Implement a marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and traffic in support of NROs, relocations and renovationsServe as liaison between NRO, marketing and operations teams and other departmentsCollaborate with the national marketing team to create and utilize resources across various channels for NRO promotion, such as social media, public relations, mobile, direct, advertising, research, design, and production team membersPartner with local field marketing and operations teams to plan and execute events, programs, and partnerships to actively promote NROs; including, identifying opportunities, filtering them against established strategy, and supporting integrated efforts around each opening, relocation or renovationWork with local field marketing and operations to schedule fundraisers, promotions and currency distribution with key community partners to support the NROAlign efforts with regional team members from other departments including finance, IT, facilities, operations, recruitment, NRO and trainingDevelop restaurant-specific marketing plans and sales goals for first 90 days post-opening, including digital commerce and catering supportUtilize knowledge from the field, sales reports and trends to form and adjust marketing strategyWork with Project Management Team to effectively communicate program goals and details, and follow projects related to NRO marketing needs from start to finishSupport in managing centralized NRO budgetManage inventory and logistics of NRO marketing assets, along with Marketing ops and production team Maintain expertise on activities and trends in new restaurant marketing, presenting new and fresh ideas, and share competitor activityTrack and analyze ROI and Business Intelligence data to help gauge success of NRO marketing in achieving our goals and strategy; make recommendations on shifts to make in strategy and tactics The ideal candidate will:Have 2-5 years marketing experience or relevant equivalentPossesses a B.A./B.S. in Marketing or a related field; or an equivalent in education and experienceHas a start-up mentality, entrepreneurial spirit and is familiar with grassroots marketing Has the ability to develop and interpret creative, high-level marketing strategy, as well as the design, technical, financial, and operational requirements of marketing programsPossesses a strong ability to manage multiple demands and responsibilities across various channels; and can adapt quickly and effectively to changing needs and expectationsMaintains current knowledge of trends in internet technology, consumer marketing, and landscape of fast casual restaurant and retail industryHas a strong desire to work as part of a team and demonstrate ability to elevate and develop others by training, coaching, and mentoring team membersIs able to write RFPs, negotiate contracts, track project costs, and process invoicesIs able to work independently and remotely both in the field and from a home officeProficient in the Microsoft Office SuitePossesses excellent written and verbal communication skillsField marketing and/or store development experience is a plusEnjoy moderate travel both regionally and nationallyPrimary Location: Colorado - Denver - 9999 - Wynkoop-(09999)Work Location:9999 - Wynkoop-(09999)1401 Wynkoop StreetDenver 80202
