We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the design, development and go to market strategy for new client facing MassMutual offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for leading innovative initiatives associated with how financial advisors work with their clients. Amongst these initiatives, a key focus for this role will be standing up and building out a collaborative learning storefront focused on financial education for consumers. You will be responsible for the overall marketing direction, coordination execution, and ongoing strategy of the initiative while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
•Able to play at the intersection of business needs and creative concept design and execution
•Able to position new products and solutions with end clients
•Experience with building and executing go to market strategies with new offerings
•Able to design segmentation models in conjunction with consumer research to support iterative customer experience messaging and design
•Experience with designing and executing social media strategies
•Dynamic personality who is comfortable living in the gray space
•Deadline driven, meticulously organized with strong attention to detail and focus
•Able to handle multiple projects and personalities with ease and tact
•Comfortable working in fast-paced environment, anticipating needs & changing dynamics, and managing accordingly
•Sets and continually manages project expectations with team memebers and other stakeholders
•Solution-oriented; creative problem solver and when necessary, escalates issues in a timely fashion
•Builds, develops, and nurtures relationships with key stakeholders vital to the success of the project
•Manages marketing and PR vendors / vendor resources to meet agreed upon deliverables.
•Work with subject matter experts to help guide insights through proof of concept
•Able to work independently and with management to resolve key issues, critical decisions and time constraints on highly visible projects
•Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
•A minimum of 5 years of marketing and public relations experience, specifically focused on launch new businesses and products
•Project management experience
•Experience with managing social channels
•Financial services experience preferred. Financial acumen a must.
•Proficient in Excel, Keynote & Powerpoint
•Experience working with and supporting cross-functional teams
