Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Google’s New Business Sales Team is a group of highly skilled sales professionals whose focus is on acquiring high potential advertisers and persuading them to incorporate Google's range of marketing products (YouTube, AdWords and the Google Display Network) into their current Marketing strategies. This global, dynamic and dedicated team is the engine behind Google’s continued growth.

Responsibilities

Build the client base for AdWords, YouTube and Google's Display Network by presenting customized search marketing solutions.

Manage your business pipeline and develop a strategy for long-term sustained success.

Work closely with our Account Management team to ensure our clients achieve their advertising goals.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with cold calling new businesses.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience educating new advertisers on why they should shift their Marketing strategies from traditional media to digital.

Experience building a book of business, managing against quota and making agreements.

Understanding of the online advertising industry.

Proven track record of exceeding sales quota.

Independent, self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity, and resilient. Thrives in a team environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to provide comprehensive advertising solutions to prospective clients.
