TITLE

NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, PUBLIX

LOCATION

Tampa, Florida

~This is an office based role (must work from our Tampa sales office)

REPORTS TO

Director, National Accounts Publix & Rowland

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Build & Manage Assigned Customer Categories

* Responsible for achieving profitable sales growth at key customer for the JM Smucker assigned categories

* Build and maintain relationships within key customer

* Develop strategies to drive brand and category growth and achieve or exceed sales and profit goals

* Influence key customer to implement solutions through fact based presentations that deliver results that are beneficial for both customer and company

* Manage execution of everyday business in partnership with key account, including item setup/ maintenance, logistics and inventory management, etc.

* Execute all agreed to solutions with customer(s) to include accurate, timely forecasting and detailed follow through

* Business Planning & Analyses

* Perform in-depth analysis of sales and profit components, including merchandising, promotional and supply chain opportunities

* Work with syndicated/other data sources to both manage and inform strategic and tactical trade plans

* Effective trade budget management and visibility

* Forecast monthly and quarterly sales and effectively communicate internally for production planning

* Ad-hoc financial and data analysis, including pre/post event analysis

* Annual business planning, merchandising support, trade management

* Accelerate Team Performance

* Drive business planning process working closely with cross-functional business partners and provide & receive direction from Sales Director and business partners on opportunities to improve P&L key metrics based on analysis of promotion, spending, and volume (forecasts and actuals).

* Communication with Sales Director in regards to every day growth

* Work with broker to implement retail initiatives and monitor retail standards

* Participate in assigned projects involving industry organizations, supply chain initiatives, etc.

* Drive strategic partnership and long term focus with all stakeholders

SELECTION CRITERIA

Education

* Bachelor s degree is required

Experience

* A minimum of 4 years of SALES experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) is required (Internal candidates; 2 years of CPG experience is required in a Sales or non-sales role)

* Previous experience calling on HQ is required

* Experience working with syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen) is required

* Experience working with Publix is strongly preferred

* Experience in food sales is preferred

Other

* Must be willing to relocate for future growth opportunities with our company

* Self-motivated and has ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse priorities

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

* Advanced Excel skillset is strongly preferred (including Pivot Tables & Lookups)

* Excellent analytical skills

* Excellent oral & written communication skills

* Ability to manage extended work schedules as needed, travel 6 times per year and adhere to company policies & procedures is required

* Must live in the Tampa Bay area or be willing to relocate to this area immediately upon hire

* Must be willing to work in the Tampa sales office 5 days per week (unless traveling).
