Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

You will be an expert at using data to help our App Developers make better decisions, which in turn will drive the app business. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities will position you at the heart of the AppDev sales strategy. You will provide project management skills, analytical “horsepower” and business judgment to support strategic and tactical activities. Using analytical rigor and statistical methods, you mine through data to identify opportunities for Google and our clients to operate more efficiently, from enhancing advertising efficacy to operational efficiency.

As a Mobile App Measurement Lead, you will do more than just crunch the numbers. You work with Product Managers and Sales Leaders to create external-facing data solutions and work with agencies to help them adopt recommendations and make better use of Google data.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales, GPLs, regional CSI, etc.) to roll out LTV based measurement approach, both internally and externally.

Develop forward-thinking, data-driven recommendations, aligned with Google’s business priorities and app business needs.

Quantify high impact opportunities and pitch to clients and agencies when applicable (attribution models, methodologies, etc.)

Partner with Sales and Sales operations to develop and test tools, dashboards, templates and frameworks to streamline and scale client analyses; Make these externally available to our clients where possible.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

3 years of experience in advertising sales, marketing, consulting, or media.

SQL-based database query skills, statistical analysis.

Analytical work experience

Preferred qualifications:

Familiar with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, 3rd party app attribution and analytics companies (Tune, Kochava, Adjust, Apsalar, AppsFlyer / Mixpanel, Localytics) and Firebase Analytics platforms.

Ability to design and optimize data processes with both automated and manual components.

Ability to design and optimize measurement methodologies for different app verticals

Ability to grasp complex data structures, investigate them, model them, and develop them.

Ability to speak with external stakeholders and agency clients at all levels and in both technical and business discussions.
