The position is responsible for providing assistance to a defined segment of the company's field locations in the development, coordination and administration of Tyson's automation skills, PLC’s, HMI, robotics and safety training programs, including applicable technical and supervisory skills. Administrationand support of the Tyson e-Learning programs for Tyson's skills and safety training programs, create and maintain automated safety notifications as needed. Responsibility also includes the appropriate interface with vendors, educational institutions, and other non-Tyson training providers as it relates to enhancing the skills competencies of maintenance mechanics.REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor degree in related field preferred; equivalent experience and/or professional certifications accepted in lieu of formal education.Experience: 5 years of related experience required. Must have experience with electronic and electrical trouble shooting, PLC’s, robotics and HMI to include proficient use of various instrumentation, troubleshooting, testing programs, voltmeters, and an ability to follow schematics.Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) required; experience with SAP preferred.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a strong presenter and facilitator.Supervisory: Should have experience leading people and teams.
