. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

Manages marketing communications and marketing material production. Defines and establishes appropriate communication strategies and timelines to support corporate and operational initiatives.

Develops , and develops communications.

Creates and maintains departmental communication projects and materials, and assists in production and distribution.

Explores and implements additional ways to promote additional programs. Manages the account web site, training and communications to the account and the operations and implementation team.

Trains service operations and internal clients on policy changes through training materials, hands-on training and ongoing updates.

Additional Duties:

Member services communications to support new initiatives, errata letters, and other special letters – i.e., call center talking points, call center scripts

Errata letters, and other special letters for all Medicare, as needed

Call Center talking points, Call Center scripts

Operational letter guidance/consulting

Planning, Testing, Implementation of e-Delivery of Mandated Member Communications for ANOC, EOC and Formulary materials

Act as a backup and additional support for the Part D/ESI Letter communications

The preferred location for this role is Thousand Oaks, California, but all California locations will be considered.

Requires a BA/BS degree; 5 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Prior experience in communications and marketing in a health care environment preferred.

 

      Other Requirements:

     Experience with traditional and digital marketing channel and processes

Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, journalism, English, or related field preferred

Experience with Medicare Part D and Medicare Pharmacy processing highly preferred

Three to four years’ experience writing for a  large agency

 or corporation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent grasp of English language

Creative and innovative thinker and planner

Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and Google Docs

Confident in producing work across multiple platforms

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Self-motivated and self-directed

Preferred location for this role is Thousand Oaks, California, but all other locations will be considered, depending on qualifications.
