Job Description This position assists and supports others in a department, subdivision, function or project. The position relies primarily on established policies, procedures, and applicable work practices to make decisions as they apply to the job duties and responsibilities.


The purpose of this position is to provide the essential technical knowledge and perform the work listed at a limited to moderate scope to support the project lead and will be operating under detailed instructions and review.

Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Prepare intermediate complexity 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings

- Review drawings of basic complexity within the discipline and from other disciplines

- Incorporate health, safety, and environmental factors in design

- Provide close interface with other discipline functions

- Engage Fluors global community, promoting a One Fluor mindset

- Apply project specifications and industry codes and standards to design drawings and other deliverables

- Deliver quality work, and adhere to the Operating System Requirements (OSR)

- Adhere to department practices and procedures

- Participate in and promote the use of Fluors knowledge management portals and communities

- Support Department/Discipline initiatives

- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards

- Execute project works, plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed by supervisor

- Adhere to and support Fluors Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies

- Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to his day to day work


- Prepare and update Mechanical Data Sheets on Various type of equipment

- Prepare and update Outline Drawings for Vessels, Columns, Tanks and Heat Exchangers

- Prepare and update Technical Requisitions

- Prepare and update Technical Bid Evaluations, Technical clarifications and technical bid summary

- Prepare and update equipment, ladder, and platform drawings

- Review discipline interface documents

- Acquire basic knowledge of the different types and functions of equipment in oil and gas and petrochemical industries

- Acquire basic knowledge of Intergraph S3D modeling software and optional on PDS and PDMS

Basic Job Requirements - Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering

- 0-5 years from date of graduation from the university or with less than one (1) year working experience

- No license required

Other Job Requirements - Basic or Advance Knowledge in AutoCAD is a plus factor

- Basic or Advance Knowledge in MS Office Applications is a plus factor
