Position Overview:

Manage and oversee key aspects of sales and operations planning, demand management, and requirements planning. Develop, implement and maintain an effective stock plan to sustain and improve customer demand availability through an optimized inventory investment using the ROP planning methodology within SAP. Develop data tools to provide current state visibility and alternatives for improvement to management.

Duties & Responsibilities:

\tManage, lead and direct the collection of demand data throughout all levels of the bill of material (BOM), perform analysis of trends and generate forward looking forecasts of anticipated demand in the stock plan.

\tWork closely with Product Management in developing service and delivery expectations for customer activity based on supply cycle times and planned product availability. Establish stock plan modifications to capture all forms of incremental volume with existing and new customers from NPD market rollout, distributor conversions and promotions.

\tWork with Buyers and Planners within the supply teams to execute the stock plan throughout the replenishment process in support of customer demand and optimal stocking levels. Perform audit/review of key supply drivers, lead time and minimum lot sizing, to stimulate positive availability in the stock plan.

\tCollect, analyze and report on delivery performance (OTDP) and inventory investment by key control categories to drive incremental revenue and inventory turns (DIOH).

\tWork with the Operations team in India to develop management and user data tools from data residing in SAP, Kinaxis and BI.
\t
\t
\tDevelop, maintain, and execute a stock plan process to meet established monthly and annual Burndy financial inventory and DIOH goals. Coordinate with all supply and demand departments to create ownership of the process and results.

\tOrganize annual FG stock plan review with all Product Management and supply team members to keep alignment with customer demand. Perform secondary reviews quarterly to identify potential plan realignment as needed with changes in business level.

\tOversees, utilize customized ROP Demand Solutions software for monthly stock plan process by:

\tImporting Demand, Material Master and BOM Data from SAP
\tPerforming rolling 12 month demand data set updates
\tAuditing and maintaining key data element drivers to insure optimal settings
\tImporting manual forecasts gathered from Product Management Teams to meet market objectives
\tGathering input from make/buy supply teams on stock plan modifications
\tSeeking continuous improvement of the ROP app and Stock Plan process and data set
\tExporting revised, audited stock plan into SAP

\tSkills & Experience:

\t
\t

\tBachelor's degree or five to ten years related experience and/or training.
\tStrong written and verbal communications skills.
\tMust have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail and other PC application skills.
\tWorks well in group problem solving situations.
\tDevelop and coordinate projects; Communicates changes and progress; Manages project team activities
\tKnowledge of SAP, Kinaxis, Business Objects, and web application development/deployment/utilization a plus.
