The Sr. Manager, Integrated Media Planning is a key member of the US Marketing team and will be highly motivated to lead innovative media and programs with Hasbro’s consumers in mind. He/She would lead US brands, media agency partner and other marketing departments to create integrated media plans that drive brand awareness, engagement and ultimately product sales. Working with the Vice President, Integrated Media and Promotions, he/she will help develop strategies, manage the tactical implementation and ongoing measurement and management.

The success of the role will be measured based on the ability to translate business goals into compelling media approaches c that drive results, engagement and sales (retail or online). The position requires strong partnership and prioritization skills to manage internal stakeholders expectations, a great working knowledge of overall media including kids and adult TV, digital, social and search. This position reports to Vice President, Omnichannel Media and Promotions, based in our Providence, RI office.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with brand and agency team to lead media planning

Define briefing process and inputs to drive best in class media plans including Hasbro internal research, syndicated services and the right level of brand detail

Partner with agency on recommendations for brand level media mix including historic, competitive and MMM inputs

Liaison with agency to educate on product priorities, brand essence and differentiators

Partner with Agency to drive research and measurement agenda

Internal lead for all 3rd party research including media mix model projects, brand trackers and custom campaign added value research

Align on research agenda with OMD and develop plan, budget and business impact analysis

Champion projects with GCI and Data Science team to ensure vendor, methodology and data inputs will lead to actionable results

Collaborate with the agency on broadcast execution

Leading the upfront negotiation process

Manage network options to ensure Hasbro has flexibility based on our business cycle and maximum cost efficiencies

Brief agency on value ad program needs, goals and measurement strategies

Manage weekly shifts with agency to respond to brand performance and ensure media dollars are support items in stock and responding to creative

Partner creative agencies to ensure asset deliveries are met

• Lead brand and content competitive requests

• Responsible for media budget accuracy and reporting

Education, Knowledge and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree and five plus years experience in offline and online media planning

• A solid understanding of integrated media channels including adult and kids media

• Proven track-record of contributing to the delivery of high-quality campaigns with clear measurement strategies either on the agency or client side.

• Knowledge of syndicated research, ad serving, media billing tools a plus

• Ability to work closely and effectively with teams in a matrix environment; including manage and collaborate with vendors and agencies to achieve agreed upon goals

• Ability to manage and inspire media partner to deliver best in class programs and innovation.
