Position Summary As our Marketing and Insides Sales Co-op, you will work with experienced marketing and sales professionals in our team of 11 local Insides Sales professionals to provide professional marketing services that result in the production of strategically focused, professional-looking qualifications documents such as proposals, presentations, and statements of qualification. The focus of our local team is to drive strategic pursuits within our Buildings and Infrastructure group to clients in the infrastructure, corporate commercial, science & technology, mission critical, water\/wastewater, and K-12 markets.\u00a0You will be exposed to experts who drive strategic pursuits and help build lasting client relationships. You will participate in response-related meetings, draft sections of sales documents, proofread and edit technical and non-technical documents for accuracy and consistency, provide graphic design and desktop publishing, work with graphic designers to develop more complex materials, conduct internal\/external research and respond to internal requests for information, develop new or update existing sales qualification materials for current and future pursuit efforts, coordinate and\/or manage production of response documents, and participate in in-house business development activities as appropriate. You will be exposed to various software systems that include working with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PhotoShop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Deltek Vision.The ideal candidate is organized, accountable, and demonstrates responsibility for meeting deadlines and following through on commitments and will perform routine tasks under close supervision using well-defined standards and procedures. Qualifications \u2022Must be enrolled in an accredited Bachelors program in Business Administration\u2022Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting preferred\u2022An ability to work in a fast-paced environment preferred\u2022Strong research and market analysis skills to facilitate development of optimal communications pieces preferred\u2022Ability to work both independently and in a team environment preferred\u2022Organized, able to manage multiple, simultaneous projects, and work under tight deadlines preferred\u2022Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plusAt Jacobs, we help prepare people for new opportunities and challenges.
