SummaryDevelop and execute marketing strategies and promotional programming for CenterPoint Energy's Home Service Plus to meet product sales and services objectives. This position will support CenterPoint Energy's Home Service Plus business line Marketing Manager. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Develops and executes marketing strategies and promotional plans to meet business line sales and customer satisfaction objectives.Analyzes customer data and research to develop and implement omni-channel marketing plans that meet customer needs, identify market opportunities and enhance service delivery.Participates in the development of the marketing approach, channel mix, key audiences, messages, budget and marketing ROI requirements.Manages end-to-end projects and campaigns aspects, including scope, documentation, customer and campaign analytics, internal and external stakeholder relationships and communications.Direcs the development of marketing materials that clearly communicate the brand and product/program positioning to the customer.Manages the execution of integrated omni-channel marketing and customer communication campaigns.Collaborates with product/project/program managers and creative teams to design, plan, test, deliver, monitor and optimize campaigns. Communicates and collaborates with applicable sales channels to achieve overall sales and customer retention goals.Tracks promotion effectiveness and continually optimize, test, share learnings and incorporate changes into future planning. Focuses on data-driven decision making by continually tracking results, measuring performance against goals, tracking expenses against budget, reporting results and taking corrective action with respect to variances.Uses understanding of overall business direction, competitive intelligence and analytics, best practices, customer needs, market influencers, market opportunities, and internal core competencies to work with other stakeholders to modify and improve product offerings.Qualifications:Education:Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. MBA with marketing focus or advanced study in the area of marketing a plus Experience: Requires a minimum of three (3) years' experience in plan development, project/program management, direct sales experience, development/ implementation/measurement of marketing and promotional plans. *HVAC/equipment sales experience desired. Additional Knowledge, Skills, Licenses/Certifications, Abilities & Personal Characteristics (KSLAPs): Able to think strategically and incorporate multiple sources of information into long and short term strategic and tactical plans.Able to analyze data and respond to market opportunities, customer needs and competitors.Able to understand traditional and digital marketing principals and how to apply them in the development and execution of promotional plans.Able to use Customer Relationship Management systems, email automation, manage databases and reports.Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Able to establish and manage marketing budgets.Able to work and produce results in a cooperative team environment. Able to understand and participate in sales process.Able to demonstrate track record of successful self-management, goal achievement and information sharing in a team environment is essential.Able to operate as a self-starter; demonstrate initiative and work effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining appropriate communication within organization and with the client base.Able to utilize social media marketing to drive awareness and lead generation, integrate email and social platforms and use tools to track engagement across platforms.Able to share knowledge of social media / digital marketing best practices, skills, tools and trends.Able to create content marketing and understand the need to align content with persona and buyer's journey, and find new ways to reach buyers through content and channels.Able to collaborate with others to accomplish the corporate or organizational objectives, including produce results through others while not impacting morale.Able to provide a valid state driver's license, present and maintain a safe driving record and to operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies. Physical Requirements: Able to operate a motor vehicle, including ability to enter and exit the vehicle unassisted. Able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a minimal amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp or otherwise move objects. Able to demonstrate the manual dexterity to operate a personal computer effectively. Able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time. Able to view personal computer monitor or laptop screen for long periods of time. Able to operate office machines including printer, telephone, photocopier, fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc. Able to speak, read and understand the English language. Able to hear oral communication in person and on equipment, such as telephone and mobile phone. Able to communicate orally in a clear manner. Working Conditions: Able to work in fast-paced office environment with a high volume workload and frequent, short deadlines that may require more than a 40-hour work week to meet established deadlines including working nights or weekends, as required. Able to travel occasionally, possibly overnight, to attend meetings and/or industry conferences. Able to work indoors, in an office environment, regardless of whether cubicle, open office or private office. May be required to remain in the service area during emergency events and assume responsibilities assigned by the company to aide in restoration efforts.
