The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing and Creative team to plan, facilitate and support development of the content and editorial calendar for the Neiman Marcus brand. They will be the chief storytelling architect responsible for amplifying the Neiman Marcus voice as we connect with our dynamic consumer. This position will work closely with the creative, advertising, social, web directors, site producers, and merchandising teams to curate and deliver unique and engaging content experiences. The main area of focus will be planning a comprehensive view of all seasonal brand activity and identifying the key channels and messages for our digitally savvy consumer.
Craft content strategies and experiences that engage Neiman Marcus consumers throughout our omni channel ecosystem.
Collaborate cross functionally to determine annual content strategy and plan based on core marketing and commercial/merchandising objectives, trends, themes and key audience needs.
Plan, align, and track content creation and curation efforts to the seasonal plan
Partner to successfully deliver brand and campaign executions across channels
Create ongoing analysis around reach, engagement, demand - documenting successes and misses and providing executive level reporting
Track competitors’ activities and provide top level summaries to call out opportunities and challenges
Provide agile and “just in time” support during the iterative content creation process
Perform other duties, as needed
3 years experience in content marketing
Ability to effectively build relationships and high level management of internal and external stakeholders; experience managing large, complex, strategic, and collaborative relationships
Display a strong marketing sense, with proven ability to deliver high-quality, engaging and impactful content marketing strategy and assets that drive business outcomes
Experience working cross-functionally, especially across marketing disciplines, merchandising and creative teams
Broad understanding of SEO and digital media, social channels and content, and familiarity with graphics, illustration, video, blog and website production, vendors and tools
Demonstrated record of successfully executing high-quality projects with independence and confidence
Ability to multi-task, prioritize multiple deadlines, and coordinate support across multiple departments
Exceptional communication, prioritization, and time management skills
Highly organized work style with a rigorous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
Strategic, metrics-driven mindset and a passion for the art and science of content marketing
