Job Profile:

CES Director, Marketing


Responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing marketing functions targeted toward existing and new markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:

Develops and implements strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives.

Develops and manages marketing operating budget.

Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.

Reviews and analyzes market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing and competitive conditions.

Monitors competitor products and marketing activities.

Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.

Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.

Partners with sales team to facilitate, support and administer functions aligned with corporate sales objectives.

Analyzes and controls department expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.

Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals, recruiting and advertising materials, and technical publications.

Prepares newsletters, special publications, announcements and other corporate communications as directed by Executive Management.

Other duties as assigned.

Education/ Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration required.

Five (5) years of related experience with progressive management experience preferred.

Masters degree in sales, marketing or business administration preferred.

Language Skills

Interpersonal communication skills necessary to successfully supervise other individuals.

Must be able to use a Windows-based personal computer.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; and occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop or kneel.

With eight employees and a hydraulic snubbing unit, Bobby Joe Cudd founded Cudd Pressure Control in 1977 in Woodward, Oklahoma. Specializing in well firefighting and well control in Western Oklahoma, we quickly expanded into Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1978. In 1979, CPC acquired several companies to expand into Texas and Louisiana. In 1980, Rollins Inc. acquired CPC and merged it into its oilfield services group that already included Patterson Services and Patterson Tubular. In 1984, Rollins Inc. created a spin-off consisting of Patterson and CPC called RPC Energy Services (NYSE: RES).
