Main responsibilities/Key goals

Lead and manage the regional team that supports and develops strategy for each country and marketing initiatives, ensuring communications are within a global brand guidelines while meeting the needs and goals of the country and region and following the strategy of the VP Marketing Solutions.

Create and manage a marketing plan to achieve goals in sales, market share, branding, global initiatives and supplier expectations. Present this plane as a single calendar that details 30-60-90 days to ensure visibility of ALL projects and initiatives, scaling of support and successful execution and feedback .

Manage and report on progress made on supplier co-op marketing commitments on a bi-monthly basis. Manage the role out and usage of the Co-op Trakker tool for CALA and ensure all coop commitments are entered in it. Regular meetings with Finance are necessary as well to ensure all coop programs are paid for in the calendar year by our suppliers.

Weekly touchpoints with regional direct reports and corporate US to manage needs and drive consistency across the region for global branding and scalability with the same event format, regional negotiations with associations and regional strategy.

Work with the DBD’s to launch new initiatives, programmes and assets to ensure adoption in all locations.

Manage supplier communications for the region to ensure consistent region-wide messaging.

Weekly meetings with VP of Marketing CALA to be aligned with the region strategy and get approvals for next campaigns and initiatives’

Special conditions

Occasional to regular travel required to corporate and the regions

Qualifications/education required

Degree in marketing/communications

Necessary skills, knowledge and experience

7-10 years’ minimum experience in communications, marketing, supplier relations and/or sales

Experience of the CALA market is essential

Must be fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish. Portuguese very beneficial

Proficient in Microsoft packages

Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Familiar with e-content production tools such as Hubspot and collaborative project work on Wrike


Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills to share the brand messaging and educate regional marketing on branding and processes

First-rate time management, planning and organizational skills

Proactively follow up on projects and report back on success and/or ways to improve

Work collaboratively with a global team
