Overview

Cracker Barrel has over 640 locations in 44 states and expanding further.  You will be heavily involved in helping with our regional and store specific promotions (including new store openings) and all that goes into getting ready for that!  One day you could be gathering information to prepare the marketing brief, and then setting up the logistics for a restaurant specific photoshoot, followed by working with our marketing agency to communicate changes.  The next day you may be tracking collateral production and fulfillment with our internal support team, and then working with our vendor to update and improve our quarterly kids menu.   Your days will be busy with no two exactly alike. The Marketing Coordinator will be a skilled multi-tasker who will assist the marketing team in implementing programs that drive brand awareness, guest traffic, and sales.  We need someone who is a skilled user of all the top social media channels—Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.  with 2-3 years of marketing experience (preferably with a restaurant/retail or top consumer brand) and project management experience working with various departments (and able to report to two managers and balance the needs of each).   If that sounds like you keep reading and submit your information!  We would love to talk to you! 

Responsibility

Coordinates regional and store-specific promotions and assists in the execution of new store opening programs by gathering market research data.
Maintains and tracks pre-promotional activity, social media engagement activities and events to build excitement for new products/locations/local events.
Communicates with agency and acts as liaison between them and our managers.
Leads collateral production/fulfillment.
Fields and responds to sponsorship and donation inquiries regarding support and sponsorships.
Work with key contacts in various company departments to implement programs, track changes, and keep the team organized.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing related field with 2-3 years of marketing experience (preferably in the Restaurant/Retail industry). High School diploma with 4-6 years of related marketing experience will also be considered. 
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Social Media experience with Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc., preferably in a business setting.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite—Word, Excel, Power Point, Project based software like Microsoft Project.
Highly organized with strong written and verbal communications and detail orientation.
Courteous, “can do” personality who is a pro-active self-starter good at following up in a fast paced environment.
