Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating & producing marketing events, activities, materials and programming of a shopping center property. Areas of responsibility include assisting with advertising and promotions, event development, implementation and evaluation, preparation of presentation and communication materials, visual merchandising, and public relations to increase traffic and sales under the general direction of the Marketing Director. Performs administrative duties to support Marketing department. A permanent, full-time position with benefits.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate special events and promotions, including collaboration with local civic organizations, charities and businesses to present both mall-sponsored and community events at the property.

Develop & produce a variety of marketing materials and collateral, such as media releases, newsletters, event calendars, signs, demographic reports, & media tracking for the property.

Monitor and coordinate approved on-going social media channel communication in support of Marketing and Public Relations goals.

Interface with sales professionals, client services assistants, researchers & media professionals regarding marketing requirements and presentations.

Assist with marketing budget development & support monthly monitoring of income & expenses.

Provide administrative assistance to the Marketing department to support daily ongoing programming and business needs.

Organize and effectively coordinate work assignments with collaborators and vendors to complete projects on time while achieving established goals.

Update and maintain Marketing files, vendor contacts, marketing supplies & resource library.

Create, edit and effectively proofread moderate to complex documents, emails, presentations and spreadsheets.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from four-year and a minimum of zero to two years of related experience and/or training.




Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal clients. Ability to effectively present information.


Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.


Ability to understand and carry out general instructions. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.


Intermediate skills with various software programs such as Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.


Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
