Position Overview:

Provides analysis and delivery of customer-specific marketing programs and actions within assigned customer(s) and/or geography; assesses and delivers customer- or property-specific applications of global or regional programs for customers to maximize value; manages specific programs or projects to achieve targeted customer and/or property objectives. Individual contributor who guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures; works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.

Function Specific Activities:

Develop the commercialization plan for all Marketing Projects.

Lead and develop the communication and coordination on the commercialization project plans.

Partner with the AVP, National & Field Marketing and Field Marketing Manager on the implementation and execute against the commercialization Marketing plans.

Participate in and lead multiple cross functional project teams, interact with The McDonald's Division cross functional US Leadership Team, McDonald's Division Global business leaders and key external constituents.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

Lead, create and manage projects against plans and objectives (including tasks, resources, and timeframes) to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work.

Support and manage special projects to drive approval, resource allocation and target-setting for individual assignments. Coordinate communications within or between functions/divisions in order to ensure consistency in strategic alignment.

Work with Project Leads to ensure timely completion of status updates and project classification including identification of Risk Mitigation plans and Business Plan impact. Responsibilities include monitoring work against business plan, Project Lead guidance to resolve variances and agenda development

Participate in operating meetings (e.g., McDonald's U.S. Leadership Team, McDonald's U.S. Planning meetings, individual strategy sessions) to gain an understanding of operating environment and business needs.

Brand connection to McDonald's Corporate and Owner Operator high profile events. Partner to generate and execute creative solutions or utilizing new technology to bring our brand and beverage strategy to life.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Related Work Experience:

12 years of experience. Customer management experience preferred. Marketing, Influencing, Project Management, Communication, Strategic Thinking and Agency Management skills are keys to success.

Functional Skills:

Guide adherence to a cohesive brand communication plan to ensure continuity of cross-market brand communication and executional platforms by publishing brand toolkits for new brands (including brand architecture, positioning statement, operational marketing strategies, etc.).

Provides strategic execution leadership, through the communication, authorization and management of all local media execution activities, including analyses, negotiation, reporting and stewardship.

Develop and execute merchandise go-to-market strategies using market knowledge (e.g., industry, competitive set, Company needs) and region/ account plans in order to maximize short and long-term growth as well as channel penetration.

Improve decision making and use of consumer and marketplace information by providing Business Teams, Global Innovation and Sales with training in marketplace information and specialized classes in research tools and techniques in order to improve understanding of marketplace dynamics and opportunities.

Write creative briefs that clearly articulate communication objectives and success criteria in order to inform and direct agency work and creative development.
