SUMMARY

This Front End Developer leads the effort of scheduling promotional and educational content for publishing on Salesforce Communities online properties for Advance Professional and all identified enterprise business units with Salesforce online support needs. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist performs key duties associated with preparing, targeting and scheduling all promotional events and offers across all online Salesforce Communities. Working both independently as well as with a high degree of communications and collaboration with project managers, visual designers and copywriters as well as business owners and UAT leads to ensure that the correct content is published at the appropriate time to support all promotional activities.

This position collaborates extensively with the business teams to ensure that content is designed and published correctly and to the cross-functional team specifications. In addition, provides a publishing service to other business groups hosted within Salesforce Communities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Coordinate the efforts of a number of cross-functional teams to ensure that all promotional and product content supports the current business calendar of events and promotions hosted within Salesforce Communities

Maintain and support eContent database for all promotional content.

Schedule all promotions and content utilizing Content Management systems

Write presentation code for all promotional content using HTML, HTML 5 and CSS to ensure launch is on time, in scope and without error.

Write and edit Javascript and Jquery, to ensure delivery of interactive components.

Code and produce both mobile and desktop online experiences with a high degree of accuracy and device capability within the Salesforce platform

Prepare for publishing responsive designed and coded promotional landing pages to support discount offers, coupons, special offers, free shipping promotions and other promotional vehicles as designed by the business users within the Salesforce platform

Provide presentation code snippets and targeting guidance to assist in the conducting of A/B and multi-variant testing on Advance online properties

Provide triage support of emergency situations to find root causes, propose solutions, solve problems and ensure continuity of the Advance customer shopping experience(s)

Perform partial publish for remediation for any Advance Auto Parts real time complications.

Support the content needs of outside business teams, including vendor documents, corporate press releases, special events, customer service documents, corporate policies and more.

Produce documentation and training guides on production and publishing procedures as necessary to support training for all cross-functional teams.

Provide support for IT portfolio projects and UAT to ensure that all projects launch on time and in scope.

Work with developers to understand content management system template/CSS development.

Participate in the direct evolution of publishing system feature sets and business processes.

Solid understanding of W3C, 508 Compliance and accessibility guidelines

Expert knowledge of HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS skills, Web graphic production

Ability to code for multiple devices and cross-browser, cross-platform compatible solutions (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) Knowledge of responsive technologies, media query, CSS3

In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Marketing Cloud and DSA

High degree of ownership and accountability.

Balance multiple projects, assignments, and launches simultaneously within a fast-paced work environment.

Function as a self-directed and motivated team member, with strong analytical, project management and coordination skills.

Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel and Access)

Experience working with content management systems and asset management applications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, computer science or related/applicable field;

5 years of digital production, content workflow or similar experience; and

5 years of experience with core website concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SEO and SEM required; and

3 years of Content Management System experience required; and/or

Equivalent combination of education and experience.
