Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Manufacturing IT Technical Analyst located in El Segundo, California through May 12, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

The Manufacturing IT Technical Analyst provides power user / IT end user support for several core IT applications supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

- 40% Perform power user/ IT administration tasks for both Siemens XHQ (web visualization of operational refinery data) and the Stewardship Activities database (tracks routine duties for refinery line management). The most time is spent updating Siemens XHQ displays to correct for field changes such as the addition or change of equipment, tag name changes, instrument changes etc.

- 30% Web page updates Directly supports several key refinery IntraNet web pages and assists other power users to help them maintain their IntraNet web pages using the Sitefinity web content management system (CMS). Helps peer refineries in Chevron that use Sitefinity CMS as an expert consultant / troubleshooter with their web pages.

- 20% Maintain and administer the refinerys master SharePoint site and assist end users who are requesting a SharePoint site to determine what type of site they need and if it is simple add it as a subsite to the refinery master site.

- 10% Provide technical assistance where directed by Operations or the local IT Applications Group lead (e.g. troubleshooting key IT hardware / software in the 24/7 control rooms).

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience supporting IT applications and end users in a Manufacturing setting.

- Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated troubleshooting skills.

- Resourceful. Strong teamwork skills.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree (Computer Information Systems / Computer Science, Engineering, other Sciences)

- Experience with configuring Siemens XHQ Software.

- Experience creating web pages utilizing SiteFinity software.
