Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist supporting Completions & Wellbore Intervention at our facility in Broken Arrow, OK.  This specialist will identify, lead, and drive process improvements to CNC machining processes. Specialist will support of the production of Safety Valve components through development of machine programs in macro B and visual basic for CNC machines.  Specialist will develop and implement tools to error proof process and ensure safety, quality and repeatability.  Specialist will work with cross functional teams to meet our business objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:

Support production through development and maintenance of machine programs to error proof machine safety, crashes, and quality improvements.

Automation  of processes with use of in machine probes

Troubleshooting and driving resolution to machining issues with cross functional teams

Lead and manage  the implementation and support of new machinery and equipment

Handles special projects, as assigned


Bachelor's Degree in Science with 5 years of experience in machining environment OR Non-degreed with 10 years of experience in machining environment

5 years of experience with CNC lathe and mill machining  and CNC programming

3D modeling

Lean Manufacturing

Good organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Characteristics:

Experience in developing macro B programs interfacing with CNC equipment

Knowledge of and application of in machine probes

Experience and knowledge of CNC tooling and work holding.
