We provide design, development and support of internally designed components, subsystems and systems, as well as production of complex assemblies using external designs.

Based in West Hartford, CT, Triumph Electrons and Controls employs approximately 500 personnel. The Company's key products and services include specializing in the design, development, certification, manufacture and repair of fuel pumps, fuel metering units, fuel controls and electronic engine control systems for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft servicing military, commercial, regional and business jet market segments.

We are currently seeking a new graduate for this Entry Level Manufacturing Engineer - Special Processes position.In this role, under the direction of more senior engineers, you will oversee processing in heat treat, plating and chemical processing lines, develop operational sequence and manufacturing methods and provide technical support to production.


  • Develop and maintain procedures, checklists, and routing for special processes to meet Nadcap requirements.
  • Coordinate the Nadcap audit process through audits, training, and corrective actions
  • Design and procure fixtures, tools, and gaging
  • Provide technical support regarding all safety and ergonomics issues within the special processes area
  • Help drive cost reductions to support the business performance
  • Collaborate with Team Leads, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to meet customer expectations
  • Perform root case analysis and corrective actions on component non-conforming material
  • Develop special processes that meet cost and design requirements from Engineering
  • Lead the introduction of special processes on new shafts, gears, and valves into Operations
  • Review and approve engineering drawings for the manufacture of new products and changes to existing products


  • 2018 College Graduate with a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy or related technical field
  • Prior related engineering internship experience required.
  • Experience with some of the following preferred: heat treat, plating and/or and chemical processing lines
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with all levels within the organization while remaining customer oriented
  • Ability to apply proven technology independently
  • Pyrometry knowledge and training a plus
  • Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
