Manager of Product Management The Manager of Product Management will be responsible for guiding, designing and implementing a comprehensive product management strategy. Acting as the central resource with design, quality and test, and marketing as products and services move to completion and distribution. Managing those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products from product/service definition through production and release. Formulating and executing long-term plans for cost/profit control and promoting the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends to product management activities. Ownership and accountability of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Analytics Solutions. The qualified candidate is preferred to live in the St. Louis, MO area and must be able to travel 20%-30% for development team meetings and customer meetings. If not located in the St. Louis, MO area, the candidate may work remotely from home and must be able to travel 20%-30% for development team meetings and customer meetings. Essential Functions: 1. Creating roadmaps and presenting to prospects and internal customers.2. Negotiating customer requests, both internal and external, industry and marketplace changes and company strategic initiatives to manage product development capacity or services expansion to meet customers' needs and the company's strategic vision.3. Maintaining a solid understanding of the marketplace to ensure that the right products or services are available at the right time.4. Assisting with the management of a current portfolio, including packaging and pricing, and assisting in developing business cases to bring new initiatives to market.5. Working closely with Sales and Accounting to resolve any client payment issues related to products or services.6. Providing tactical support to other internal initiatives such as sales training, collateral development, and product performance. Required Experience:
Minimum of five years' experience in product management in the software/healthcare industry.
2 or more years of experience building Analytics solutions preferably in the Healthcare/Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) space.
Technical Competencies:
Working knowledge of the product development stages and process and the technologies involved in web development.
Agile software development in a SaaS environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Science or Statistics is required.
MBA or a graduate degree in Data Science/Analytics is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
