Manager Financial Analysis - Ops Finance','187480','Aveda','Finance & Accounting','Americas-US-MN-Blaine','','','','','Full-time','1st (Day) Shift','','Standard','','','!*!Position Purpose: - Provide financial information and guidance to our Manufacturing and Distribution partners- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturing teams and all internal support groups to facilitate successful product launches and existing business support programs.  - Ensure proper financial controls are being adhered to within the Mfg organization.  - Assist Mfg with interpreting performance results and understanding variances.  - Each Aveda employee will practice an individual commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in the workplace. - We aim to steer society in a more sustainable direction for our benefit and the benefit of generations to come.Description of Duties:- Ensure timely completion of monthly close activities.  Address and resolve immediate issues and concerns relating to close.  Review recorded variances for reasonableness.- Prepare Monthly Manufacturing variance book.  Analyze and understand variances including Direct Labor, Spending and Volume Recovery.- Manage all of expense budgets for Manufacturing and Distribution.  Work with department managers on spending and accuracy of estimate.  Provide guidance on cost reduction opportunities.- Assist in development of annual earner hour/recovery plans, overhead and direct labor rates.- Manage development of the annual projections and plans for spending and headcount.  Ensure rationale is adequate for all budget items.- Manage Distribution charge out process to brands including setting Fixed and Variable billing rates for Budgeting and Monthly billing based on actual performance. ROI justifications for additional volume and shifts.  Productivity reporting and managing headcount- Oversee cycle counting accuracy in all 3 distribution centers for SOX compliance.- Conduct monthly performance review meetings with senior management in accordance to EL policy and Sarbances compliance.- Manage all pricing functions including maintenance for new and existing products.  Establish Margin benchmarks/thresholds for analysis.  Track launches and prepare charge backs to OPEX for free goods. Assist in monthly close of AR including clearing of billing log.- Assist in product workflow setup for pricing and costing accuracy.- Manage project work as required.- Develop pricing ad hoc anaylsis and presentations in support of senior management.- Other duties as assigned.','!*!Minimum Requirements:Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: 3-5 years related experience in Accounting/Financial environmentOthers: - Excellent analytical skills- Excellent interpersonal and written and spoken communication skills- Excellent follow up and organizational skills required- Excellent systems, pc, and spreadsheet skills (SAP desired)- Ability to work within tight time requirements','We are an equal opportunity employer.
