SUMMARY: This position is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining all Environmental Services data systems to assist environmental compliance professionals with achieving compliance with Tyson Standards; management expectations; and local, state, and federal environmental regulatory requirements. Responsibilities will also include maintaining environmental data collection tools and all other compliance applications, working with environmental customers across Tyson to ensure the understanding and correct use of tools and applications, verifying the validity and accuracy of all collected environmental data, analyzing environmental data, developing and producing reports , maintaining the environmental website, and ensuring data governance.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related to information systems, business systems, environmental science or engineering.

Experience: 5 years of experience with project management, continual improvement models and/or environmental (or other disciplinary) compliance systems. Advanced computer skills, SharePoint and database experience required; SAP experience preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong presentation and public speaking skills are required.

Special Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities, accuracy, and intuitiveness. Highly communicative with ability to present difficult concepts in understandable terms to all levels of the organization.

Supervisory: None

Travel: 8-12 trips per year.
