Job Summary

Responsible for leading, organizing and managing the 340B Client Relationship Management team. Coaches team members through orientation, training, mentoring, establishment and communication of goals/objectives, and performance management.

Responsible for leading strategic projects within 340B such as maximize efficiency of 340B pharmacy operations, supporting 340B activities in acquisitions, and expanding healthcare services.

Develops and implements processes, procedures, and training plans, while ensuring compliance with government programs and contractual commitments.

Job Responsibilities

Monitors and manages 340B Analysts workflow to ensure client relationships and deliverables are being maintained satisfactorily.

Manages relationships between clients, consulting vendors, and other Walgreens' teams to investigate and resolve escalated issues.

Coaches and mentors team members through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace. Participates in hiring process to ensure adequate resources.

Ensures team is appropriately staffed and necessary resources are available to accommodate future growth and client requirements in an efficient and cost effective manner. Directs the development of SOPs to accommodate department and operational needs.

Responsible for monitoring changes in government program requirements and designing changes in our technology, processes, and policy to meet such changes. Responsible for developing and implementing metrics to assess client and process efficiencies and determine opportunities for improvement. Reports on opportunities and provides improvement recommendations to management.

Ensures department leadership is kept informed of project/implementation processes, team member performance, critical issues, and achievement of major milestones. Recommends improvements as appropriate.

Maintains and continually builds knowledge of the healthcare and pharmacy services industry, and uses that knowledge to identify ways and make recommendations to improve the 340b program.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in account management, project management or business operations OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in account management, project management or business operations.

Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department and company goals within budget and established timelines.

Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Experience presenting to and coordinating senior level meetings, including preparation of agendas, documenting meeting minutes, sending out documents to attendees.

Experience with Visio.

Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).

Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).

Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

Willing to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

At least 1 year of experience directly managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work OR At least 2 years of experience in indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other team members.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in 340B programs or other Government funded programs.

Experience in pharmacy business operations.

At least 1 year of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
