The Manager, Business Intelligence builds

and manages technology capabilities for Business Intelligence (“BI”),

dashboards, and performance metrics for Corporate and International Business

Units.  The Manager provides leadership to the BI Report Development and Business

Analysis groups and will be a point of contact for the business community on

projects related to BI and reporting.  The incumbent will provide guidance to and mentoring for

the BI group by defining best practices, documentation and development

standards.  The incumbent will concentrate

on the creation and maintenance of databases, data warehouses, reports, and the

associated BI infrastructure.  The

incumbent will also provide and maintain optimal user experience with reports,

dashboards, and other deliverables across all organization levels.  The incumbent will be the lead functional and

technical resource in all associated BI discussions and will support the BI vision

and strategy.

and manage scope and project prioritizations.Manage large, complex projects

from start to finish, complying with internal Process Improvement Project

lifecycle process.  Supervise

Analysts, Developers, and others assigned to these initiatives.  Identify ahead of time any issues with

timelines or completion of projects and work through same with internal

customers.Provide strategy, direction and

support for Business Analysis team during requirements gathering, peer

reviews, development, user acceptance, and delivery.Provide

BI Developers with guidelines in the design and development of BI portions of

business projects.Monitor

BI and data management technology trends and introduce innovative solutions to

meet business needs.Provide

detailed time estimates for requirements, design, development, and testing


business analysis and development tasks on scheduleEngage

in hands-on, in-depth analysis, review and design of software, including

technical review and analysis of source codeSet

standards for business analysis and technical documentationCollaborate

with Enterprise Architecture team and Project Management office to provide

timely project health metricsEnsure

Business Applications development meets or exceeds customer requirementsEnsure

product designs are well documented and communicatedProvide

timely and efficient production supportProvide

technical guidance to offshore development teamEnsure

the quality of deliverables produced by offshore teamManage

offshore development activities, which will require working non-traditional

Supervise and manage performance of Business Intelligence team, BI/Database

Engineers and BI Business AnalystsCreate

strong collaborative team environment.Recruit, develop and retain staff, partnering

with Senior Management, Recruiting and Human Resources.  This includes on-boarding and orientation for

new hires.Provide disciplined performance management for team.  Define and communicate annual goals, perform

formal and informal performance reviews, and ensure changes and updates are

communicated in a timely and professional manner.Proactively identify and resolve personnel

issues in conjunction with Human Resources




experience with all relevant BI suites (Oracle OBIEE with BI Apps):  IBM Cognos 8/10 BI (Query Studio, Report

Studio, Event Studio), and Oracle OBIEE technologies (Oracle DB, ODI , OBIEE


with databases and administrationStrong

analysis skills with active examples of experience in either a business analysis

or quality analysis function.Strong

knowledge of software development standards and best practicesStrong

with real estate investment trust (“REIT”) qualifying organizations and

specifically reporting to support REIT qualification is preferred.



of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related

field requiredAt

least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis or Quality Assurance and BI in

a diverse technical environment required.At

least 3 years of management experience or experience as technical lead on IT

projects required.Experience

with use of relational data, OLAP data, Oracle OBIEE, ETL tools and OBIEE/BI

Apps required.Finance

and Accounting background in conjunction with Information Systems preferredAt

least 5 years’ experience in the tower leasing industry, with an in depth

knowledge of leasing, asset development, services, and site modification data

sets preferred.Experience

consulting in a direct customer facing role that involves analysis and

technical development in an Application, Business Intelligence or Web Design

function preferredExperience

managing and executing on reporting requirements, requests and deliverables to

support large-scale data driven organization





100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under

normal office conditions.  Up to

approximately 15% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
