Interested in becoming a Manager, Workforce Planning at Aaron’s?  As a Manager, Workforce Planning, you will be responsible for developing and implementing workforce planning processes and programs.  This position gathers, validates, and analyzes data from a variety of sources related to workforce planning.  Responsible for identifying and driving best practices; makes recommendations and drives toward implementation of new solutions.  Seen as an expert in data analysis, modeling, capacity planning, and business analytics.  Partners with various teams including Finance, HR, IT and Operations leaders to analyze data, develop recommendations and implement projects.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive and consistent strategies, tools, and processes related to workforce planning, staffing efficiencies, schedule forecasting, and staffing costs. 

Develop Workforce Planning metrics and reports with IT and other departments. 

Reviews data to monitor or identify trends.  Collaborates with the Operations Leaders and other internal department and uses expert knowledge to identify areas of opportunity.

Spend time with the field to learn, seek feedback, and to implement new solutions

Partner with senior leadership to identify, develop and implement strategies, policies and programs. 

Develop and track budget for all workforce planning projects and initiatives. 

Partners with other teams to implement Workforce Planning initiatives.

 

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study.  Master’s degree preferred.

7 years of experience focusing on workforce analytics with demonstrated success in identifying areas of opportunity and successful implementations.  Experience with business analysis preferred. 

Experience with a larger retail company strongly preferred.

Strong data analytics and financial analysis background

Exceptional written, organizational and communication skills

Strong interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively with all levels of staff

Strong organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities

Proven experience in change management a plus
