Manager, WW Partner Communications

Apple is seeking an experienced communications expert to lead a team of partner-facing marketing specialists in the development of best-in-class advertising and communications that feature Apple products or services.

Based in Cupertino, California, the Manager, WW Partner Communications will lead a small team that will drive the development of innovative partner-led advertising and communications that feature Apple products or services. This role requires extensive collaboration with the Geo Marcom, Channel and Partner Communications community, and will develop great relationships internally as well as externally with our partners.

This role will require continuous communication & collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders including Apple’s Channel Marcom, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Finance and Sales leaders.

Key Qualifications

Extensive experience in brand communications across consumer and business audiences.

A strong strategic thinker, capable of collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

Proven flexibility/adaptability to change in dynamic environment and working as a member of a high performing marketing team.

Proven experience of strong leadership skills, working with and inspiring their teams.

Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns with international brands.

Passion and eagerness to develop best-in-class marketing campaigns with external partners.

Excellent presentation and communications skills.

Problem solving and analytical capabilities.


Strategic Program Planning:

Determine the appropriate communications strategy for each Apple product and route-to-market, ensuring alignment between worldwide stakeholders (Marcom, Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales). Establish a cadence for providing critical updates and insights to key stakeholders and leadership.

Product Launch Management:

Drive planning and execution of product launches and campaign refreshes across the global Partner Communications Team. Ensure timely and seamless development of all Apple-led programs and Partner-led communications. Develop global templates/models for sharing intelligence/hindsights. Synthesize global launches into key insights and learnings and share with global stakeholders and decision makers.

Channel & Partner Comms Integration:

Develop and drive processes designed to maximize the expertise offered by the Partner Communications and Channel teams. Foster collaboration through clear roles and responsibilities.

Quarterly Budget Planning and Vendor Management:

Oversee quarterly fiscal planning to ensure budgets and resources are allocated to support key WW Partner Comms initiatives and sustaining needs.

Team Development and Management:

Manage a small team and support the development and growth of a large network of Geo Partner Communications Managers. Identify and maintain top talent and create an environment in which the team can contribute at the highest level regardless of distance. Provide the planning and leadership to the Partner Communications Team, by ensuring that the appropriate processes, competencies and values are developed in order to meet and exceed the goals defined by WW leadership.


Bachelor’s degree preferred. MBA or advanced business degree a plus.

Additional Requirements

10-15 years experience in advertising or communications marketing, account management at a creatively driven ad agency or in-house marketing communications firm
