This role works with VAP stakeholders to design and develop training content for promotional field teams, focusing specifically on Specialty therapeutic areas and Tools & Resources trainings; co-leads Tracks 1 and 2 and coordinates with the field trainers and management to ensure effective training for RAEs and NAEs while leveraging curriculum for VAP matrix teams as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:

Work with VAP partners to identify training needs and develop training plans for promotional field teams, with a focus on RAEs and NAEs.

Manage the training inventory to identify gaps and inform investment decisions

Lead the design and development of content (e.g., interactive workshops, facilitator guides) for promotional field teams with limited vendor support, leveraging significant instructional design experience

Own end-to-end process for Specialty TA and related Tools & Resources trainings

Co-lead end-to-end process for training journeys (i.e., Tracks 1 and 2)

Curate content for different audiences using most current and innovative delivery methods

Regularly measure and communicate training effectiveness

Support the VAP Training Lead in the POA process

Help manage the training budget for the VAP organization

Minimum Requirements:

Degree/Certification/Licensure

4-year BA/BS degree required

Advanced degree in Instructional Design preferred

Experience – Responsibility and minimum number of years

Significant experience in instructional design (>5 years)

Experience working in relevant Specialty therapeutic areas

Competencies – knowledge, skills, abilities, other

Proficiency in Specialty Therapeutic areas (Cardiovascular and Immunoscience)

High level proficiency in tools and resources developed by brands and used across the organization

Understanding of landscape and market access environment

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with matrix teams

Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple complex projects across a large matrix organization

Ability to build alignment and drive process

Software that must be used independently and without assistance (e.g., Microsoft Suite)

Microsoft Office, Storyline, Success Factors (LMS), Adobe Connect

Working Conditions:

Travel Required up to 20%
