Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a leader in User Acquisition and CRM Marketing, you will collaborate with research, marketing, engineering, product management and creative media teams to drive performance marketing strategies and execution and optimize conversion and communication funnels. You will drive the vision of how all digital channels effectively move users through the consumer journey with clear success metrics to optimize investment. You will partner with Google teams who specialize in each discipline (i.e. paid media, email, etc.) to deliver a comprehensive marketing investment plan with ongoing live results. This role necessitates being at ease at the complex intersection of technology, creativity and user insight.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of current and future consumer segments, technology, trends and competition; identify key growth initiatives to increase the customer base and their lifetime value.

Scope the analytics tools required to measure/optimize the marketing investment while helping create the strategy; define KPIs for the team’s performance marketing initiatives and design a testing framework that will enable us to experiment and learn from better tests.

Identify, execute and manage opportunities with internal/external partnerships, and collaborate with broader pan-Google marketing teams on attribution models, analytics, audience segmentation, email, messaging, creative, promotions, and retention strategies.

Collaborate with product team to inform the development and optimization of landing page experiences, align with media channels and audience segments, and define and oversee all paid key digital acquisition channels, including all biddable and programmatic paid media, including paid social.

Work with engineers/program managers to define the end to end flow of account management, partner with program managers and UX on tools for enabling authentic user promotion and collaborate with the Community Management and Customer Support teams in flight.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

7 years of practical marketing experience.

Experience with SQL, spreadsheet functionality and end-to-end marketing strategy; including funnel and product optimization with experience testing every aspect.

Preferred qualifications:

Proven success driving acquisition, engagement and retention for major consumer products; leading partners to galvanize a team toward common goals.

Passion for gaming and visceral understanding of gaming landscape with exceptional problem solving and quantitative skills.

Ability to articulate, persuade and drive results with key leaders at Google and experience with Marketing budget responsibility.

Clear communication skills and ability to closely collaborate with various stakeholders.
