Manages a professional inside telesales team. Directs campaigns to secure sales in new territories and industries, to realize full market potential of customers and to establish product line acceptance. Guides sales representatives and personally promotes and secures new major and important accounts.
Lead, Manage and Motivate the inside telesales team within a designated sales discipline in order to achieve objectives.
Establishes sales objectives by accurately forecasting and developing monthly sales quotas for territories; projecting expected sales volume for existing and new products by revenue stream.
Achieves results at the region, revenue stream, market, territory, and account levels. Achieves these results/goals by planning, counseling, coaching employees, and monitoring and appraising job results. In addition, maintains an adequate pipeline to achieve goals; accurately and consistently forecast business results.
Maintains an effective SQ sales staff by selecting, training, and developing personnel.
Operate within designated expense budgets and report sales results.
Develop, maintain, and utilize pricing models for all major markets and implements service agreements that are consistent with Stericycle’s financial objectives.
Focus on sales efforts around identifying and fulfilling customers’ current and future needs, utilizing solution-selling models.
Liaise with US SQ teams including but not limited to Marketing, Sales Operations, Training, Regional Sales Managers, to align processes and leverage knowledge and resources.
Implement Performance Management with all direct reports including regular one-on-ones, development plans and performance reviews.
Builds a customer centric orientation and drives consistent high loyalty ratings.
Performs other related duties as required or requested.
Ability to work flexible working hours as necessary.
Education equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree in sales/marketing, or the equivalent in related work experience.
Five or more years of successful experience in sales/telesales with a consistent proven track record of overachievement of quota expectations in a business-to-business environment; including one year of team leader or supervisory experience.
Two or more years of outbound telesales management experience is preferred including telesales management experience and success in a business-to-business environment, demonstrating the ability to successfully manage people in order to achieve performance goals.
Demonstrates good knowledge of sales automation software, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
