Job Description / Information
The Manager of SAP Warehouse Deployment will drive warehouse ERP localization activities and ensure successful implementation of our global SAP ERP system with the business. The Manager will partner with the wave team process leaders to align on strategy, formulate plan, and execute system localization, data migration, system testing, training, and other key deployment activities for their process area(s). Additionally, the Manager will be a lead liaison back to the global Business Process Owner to support process evolution and continuous development of system functionality as required. Key responsibilities include:
Partner with business functional leaders and associates in deployment wave to ensure successful implementation of ERP system with the wave.
Lead liaison between business wave team to the Business Process Owner for system and process design to ensure functionality meets business requirements.
Work closely with systems integrator and wave team to drive wave localization and system configuration.
Plan and execute data cleansing, migration and conversion activities to ensure accuracy of enterprise master data and transactional data for the deployment wave.
Along with deployment wave team, drive system testing and user acceptance testing activities to completion per schedule.
Influence process decisions, identify upstream and downstream impacts and gaps, and solve problems in partnership with Global Business Process owner.
Lead wave team and partner with Global Business Process Owner to identify change impacts and ensure effective change management and end user adoption of to-be processes.
Influence global solutions and develop and drive local solutions within the warehouse and across work-streams to support end user needs for OTC (i.e. Order Management, Consignment, Kit Management), PTP (i.e. SYK and OEM/CM purchasing), Global Trade Compliance, Transportation, and Inventory Management.
Influence global solutions and develop and deliver integrated local solutions for internal ERP Warehouse Management Systems and solutions with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers.
Drive strategy and execution with deployment wave team to complete “Day In the Life” business simulation, and other business readiness activities for respective process area(s).
Develop and execute cutover and hypercare plans to ensure successful preparation and post-go live support for respective process area(s).
Lead the training responsibilities for Warehouse process. Training includes but is not limited to power users and end users training on the business process and system functionality.
Influence and may be responsible for developing training content creation, wave scoping activities, process map development, and design decisions.
Education & Special Trainings:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent required.
Minimum Qualifications & Experiences:
7-10 years’ experience required with ideally 3 years of relevant industry experience in warehouse, distribution or supply chain process areas.
Strong knowledge in warehouse management and/or related supply chain functions.
Strong understanding of end to end business processes including upstream and downstream warehouse process dependencies and impacts.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence at leader levels to ensure effective change management and user adoption of to-be processes.
Proven ability to accept a high degree of accountability for project areas.
Independently able to lead team deliverables.
Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing major projects or initiatives.
Prior experience as a team member on a ERP, major business-system, or large-scale transformational programs desired.
Ability to maintain strong relationships within Stryker Divisions and Geographies.
Exhibits strong business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
Proficient Microsoft Office skillsets.
