Job Summary
The Manager, International Communications & Operations is responsible for management of internal and external communications.
He/she is also responsible for event management \u2013 specifically the annual conference and town halls. Manager owns the planning and execution of these events, to ensure international objectives are met and integrated into a global GNC perspective.
In addition, Manager supports the operationalization of programs to support operational excellence \u2013 these include updating operations\u2019 manuals, SOPs, best practice sharing and training support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Serves as primary source of communications for GNC International - to both internal and external partners
Composes and disseminates communications in multiple formats (emails, documents memos, videos, etc) as required.
Creates and maintains a communication calendar \u2013 incorporates and interfaces with multiple departments to ensure timely delivery, including merchandising, marketing and wholesale.
Creates, manages and publishes materials on intranet site (GENESIS) and/or other systems
Communicates priorities and timelines to all on a daily basis and as required. Makes recommendations as needed.
Manages any outsourced translations according to budget and time
Collaborates with domestic corporate communications team to ensure timely communication of company-wide initiatives (i.e. Town Hall messages, Messages from the CEO, etc) to the international audiences
Communication support as needed (e.g video editing, scripting, PPTs)
Maintains contact lists current
Contributes to the overall planning and streamlining of efficiencies to provide ongoing improvements to the field communications process.

Event Planning

Responsible for planning and implementation of international events, particularly the yearly conference and town halls.

Partners with domestic team to ensure international needs and content are integrated into \u201cglobal events\u201d
Works with domestic teams and outside vendors to ensure international needs are being met. This includes coordinating logistics and details (e.g. meeting rooms, hotel room registrations, meals, private events, tours and transportation, etc).
Manages timely and adequate communications and updates \u2013 both internal and external.
Coordinates logistics and content for key International events (Update sessions, Awards, country meetings)
Provides on-site support throughout event

Provides a variety of communication materials (e.g. PPT, scripts, etc) for conference, town halls, leadership team meetings and other associate events. Creates core messaging and coaches leaders in preparing to deliver messages.

Operations Support

Support various initiatives under Director International Operations (e.g. Operations manuals, Operation Standards, Best Practices, Onboarding, Secret Shoppers, etc) by managing project workflows and communications.
Consolidates training resources from multiple sources to package and disseminate training information to our partners; contributes to expansion of international training resources and support.
Primarily liaison with customer service.
Provides GENESIS support including training, onboarding and access.
Manages ASANA and/or other productivity tools, ensuring content is accurate and managing multiple calendars and communication tools.
Participates in various meetings to ensure communications and follow through (e.g. domestic communications, internal/external operation calls, MMO, etc)
Supports international on-boarding.
Supports website, as it relates to communications and content.
Ensures international information on is accurate and optimized.

Job Specifications

5 years of relevant corporate communications
Seasoned writing, copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proven ability to think strategically and determine impact of decisions on the business.
Prior experience and proven skills in Project Management
Ability to effectively communicate in a cross-functional team environment and influencing others.
Excellent verbal and communications skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as external business partners.
Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple fast-paced, high priority projects simultaneously and  ability to meet deadlines. High stress tolerance.
