The Manager, Inbound Solutions, will lead the development and execution of the analytical and strategic initiatives of the Inbound Transportation Team. Leading a highly motivated team, this position is responsible for the execution of cost-savings initiatives, metric/trend reporting and the overall carrier sourcing/relationship strategy.
Working closely with the Inbound Operations Team, this position also leads the development, maintenance, and support of systems and applications utilized by the Inbound Transportation Team, leading process improvement opportunity and execution.
Lead the development and execution of process improvement/cost-savings initiatives, which includes a total inbound freight spend of approximately $40M. Interpret and communicate key metrics to internal/external stakeholders including CVS Management and carrier partners Manage Inbound Transportation carrier strategy, including the vetting of potential partners, carrier contract negotiations, and relationship development. In addition, manage carrier scorecarding and relationship management processes. Develop and implement CVS Transportation Team transportation market strategy.
Lead the execution of Inbound Transportation RFP’s (Request for Proposals) and manage the post RFP implementation process Manage the support and maintenance of applications to support the Operations Team including TMS process changes, enhancements and upgrades Develop/manage highly motivated team of analysts Provide transportation/analytical leadership to support projects/initiatives as needed

-Strong working knowledge of carrier sourcing/contracting, TMS system implementation and Transportation RFP execution.
-Database experience utilizing SQL.
-Working knowledge of Corporate Mainframe and SAP.
-Experience with Tableau Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive decision-making and consensus across all levels within the organization.
-Strong strategic skills with proven ability to develop sound business plans that achieve business objectives.
-Excellent interpersonal, influencing and written communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels cross functionally.

Bachelor’s Degree required; concentration in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
Clinical Licensure Required
-3 years of experience in a Transportation/analytical capacity or Supply Chain with proven ability to develop and execute strategic solutions and lead a highly motivated team. Strong business acumen, Supply Chain experience and knowledge of Transportation practices.
-Strong technical expertise including significant experiences with Microsoft Office Suite (Access and Excel, is required).
Ability to develop and implement sustainable processes.
Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive decision-making. Strong time management, organization skills to effectively prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in order to maximize the business impact.
-Ability to effectively work cross functionally with multiple internal business units.
-Proven ability to lead a results driven team.
