KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Responsibilities:

Manage operations and maintenance for IT systems in production

Manage a team of technical and functional resources through full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Coordinate resources for incident resolution including subcontractors and client resources, and with multiple application support vendors

Manage testing activities related to software releases, quality control, and documentation development

Develop Level Of Effort estimates, and manage constraints and resource assignment

Serve as the subject matter specialist surrounding maintained applications

Serve as the team point of contact for resolving issues and interfacing with customers

Qualifications:

A minimum of five years of working experience in Consulting, IT and software development

A minimum of eight years of experience implementing IT projects, managing system operations and maintenance as well as software system releases

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a similar major from an accredited college/university; Master's Degree preferred

Strong project management, team building and staff management experience

Strong verbal/written communications and presentation skills

Ability to engage, mentor and lead technical teams including a variety of technical developers

Travel may be 80-100%

U.S. citizenship required and an active U.S. Federal government Secret security clearance
